At Alteration Artisan, each project starts with a garment and material assessment. We review the construction, available seam allowance, fabric condition, and the fit you want before confirming the scope of work.
Our redesign consultation helps shape a practical concept that respects the original piece. Depending on the garment, we may update the fit, restyle details, or plan a remodelling approach that uses the strongest parts of the fabric.

For custom redesign work, pricing is prepared after the material and design review. Supplementary materials are quoted separately, and concept approval is required before remodelling begins.
We also support customer-supplied materials when they are suitable for the project. Original thread and trim matching is used where available, but exact matches cannot be guaranteed until materials are checked.
